Ever since I was a child, dogs have been my greatest teachers. My mother loved to remind me how our family’s German Shepherd helped me learn to walk — patiently letting me hold onto her fur as we toddled through the apartment together.
Those early days sparked a lifelong bond. I grew up spending hours outdoors with our dogs, learning that each one has a unique rhythm, a distinct personality, and an unspoken language of trust and joy.
From Long Island to Nokomis - A Journey of Pawprints
Years later, my husband and I turned that love into a business on Long Island, New York, where we launched the first I’ll Walk Your Dogs.
What started as friendly neighborhood walks quickly blossomed into a thriving local dog walking community. We organized regular group walks, made lifelong friends (human and canine alike), and learned what pet parents value most – trust, consistency, and genuine care.
When we moved to Florida, we thought that chapter had closed. I focused on my holistic healing coaching practice for a while… but I couldn’t stay away from the dogs for long.
The truth is, dogs make life better. They don’t care about your schedule or your worries – they just want connection. And I realized I wanted that too. So with my husband’s encouragement, we decided to reopen our hearts – and our leashes – here in Nokomis, Florida.
