About Vanda
She thought that chapter was closed. It wasn't.
Vanda built I'll Walk Your Dogs on Long Island over 14 years ago, not as a side hustle, but as a real local business built on trust, reliability, and a genuine love for dogs. It grew, it thrived, and when she and her husband moved to Florida, she thought that chapter was finally closed.
Then a neighbor had surgery. A little Shih Tzu wasn't getting her walks. A Siberian Husky upstairs needed someone. And Vanda, who had just said goodbye to her own dog Sage and sworn she couldn't do it again, found herself back on a leash. One walk led to another. Then another. The retirement community next door heard about her, put her through a full screening, and something clicked. She got recertified, got insured, registered the name, and got back on the bicycle she never should have got off.
Today Vanda walks dogs across Nokomis and North Venice, specializing in small and senior dogs, the ones that need a slower pace, a gentler hand, and someone who actually notices how they're doing. No apps, no strangers, no surprises. Just consistent, caring walks from someone who lives right here in your community.
